Annual Conference Offering To Support TWK Local Church Food Ministries

This year, the annual conference offering will support TWK local church feeding ministries across our conference. (Pictured is Food Ministry: Kirksey UMC)

Local congregations are encouraged to collect a special offering to bring to the annual conference in June

Hunger exists in every corner of our conference, and many TWK congregations are faithfully feeding their communities through food pantries, meal ministries, and partnerships that reflect Christ’s love. Our 2026 Annual Conference offering will support TWK local church feeding ministries across our area.

Thanks to the generosity of Encore Ministries Foundation, every dollar raised through our Annual Conference offering will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

Christmas in July...It's Time for the Christmas Shoebox Project!

It’s Shoebox Time again! Empty boxes are ready for pickup at the District Office or contact BeverlyAnn Jetton at 731-431-0165. Join United Methodist churches across the Southeast in sharing the love of Christ by filling shoeboxes with Christmas gifts and the story of Jesus for children served by UM missionaries and pastors. Shoeboxes are due June 30, so contact the district office (731-694-4654) to get started and be part of this joyful ministry!

The Harpeth River District will host an in-person Basic Course for Lay Servant Ministries on January 31 & February 7 at Pickwick UMC. This two-session course is a great place for anyone feeling even a small tug toward ministry to learn, grow, and discern next steps. Cost is $30 plus the purchase of the book.
