Embrace Church is a new faith community based in the East Bay that embraces these 3 core values:
1. The HUNCH - we gather together and invite others not necessarily by fundamental conviction or dogma, but by leaning into the “hunch” that “life with God is better than life without God, and that life is best lived out together in community.”
2. The HUNGER - we believe that a spiritual hunger ex
ists in all people; that is the way we have been created and that is the way humanity is wired. Our spirituality and faith are defined by how we fulfill that hunger by connecting with God through the power of Scripture and by creating opportunities to be in ministry with those in need.
3. The HOPE - what we have now and what we experience now is not all there is; the best is yet to come. We want to embrace people in both their joys and celebrations as well as in their pain and brokenness. Everyone is looking for hope in some form or fashion. As a community of faith, our main outcome will be to instill hope into the lives of those who gather so that we might see the possibility of a different and better world.
