Notes from this morning!
Be filled with the spirt and stay faithful to Him!

08/22/2026

This Sunday, we won’t be gathering together in person, but we still want to encourage you to spend some time in God’s Word with us.

A new message, “No Room For Pretending” — Acts 5:1–11, is available now on our website.

In Acts 5, we’re reminded that God isn’t interested in appearances—He desires honesty, sincerity, and a heart that is fully surrendered to Him.

This Sunday at Refine Church, we continue our summer series:

Now What? Living After the Resurrection

And on Father’s Day, we’ll be looking at:

The Men God Uses
Acts 1:15–26

After the resurrection, Peter stood up. Not because he was perfect, but because Jesus had restored him and the mission had to move forward.

This Father’s Day, we’ll be challenged from God’s Word to be men who stand up, stay anchored in Scripture, face brokenness honestly, help others move forward, and trust God with the outcome.

Our homes need godly men.
Our church needs godly men.
The next generation needs godly men.

Not perfect men. Faithful men.

Join us this Sunday as we honor fathers and challenge all men to stand for Christ.

This summer at Refine Church:

Now What? Living After the Resurrection

After the resurrection, the question becomes:
Now what?

This series is about what it means to live with hope, purpose, and mission because Jesus is alive.

This Sunday, we continue with:

Week 2: Stop Staring, Start Witnessing
Acts 1:6–11

Jesus didn’t leave His church here to stare into the sky. He sent us to be witnesses.

Join us this Sunday!

I shared this last year, and it’s been on my heart again this week…

There’s a day we don’t talk about much…

The day in between.

After the cross… before the resurrection.
A day of silence.
A day of waiting.
A day where it feels like God is quiet.

But even in the silence, God is still working.

If you’re in a “Saturday” season right now......holding onto hope, waiting for answers, wondering what God is doing.....you’re not alone.

Sunday is coming. ✝️

Palm Sunday is one of the most powerful moments in the life of Jesus.

Crowds lined the streets.
Palm branches were raised.
Voices shouted, “Hosanna!”

It looked like a victory.

But beneath the celebration… there was a misunderstanding.

They were welcoming a King —
but not the King they truly needed.

This Sunday, we’ll explore:
“The King They Wanted vs The King They Needed” (John 12:12–27)

🌿 A message about expectations vs truth
🍞 A time of communion as we remember His sacrifice
🙏 A moment to prepare our hearts for Easter

We would love for you and your family to join us.
