Holy Trinity Lutheran Church The mission of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is to connect people to Jesus through love and the word of God.

“It is the purpose of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church to engage as many persons as will share its confession of faith in Jesus Christ; to worship the Lord; to be equipped as disciples; to witness and serve so that the Word of God may become effective in their lives. Together and individually, we work to fulfill our mission as a congregation. We work in Christian fellowship and with social institutions in a caring ministry of love. In order to develop the individual ministries, we will remain flexible and open to meet the changing needs of the Church, the community and the world. It is our aim to draw on the spiritual gifts and abilities of all persons to involve them in the life and the mission of the church.”

In Isaiah 45:1-7, we are reminded that God is at work in the world, guiding the course of history and working through unexpected people and circumstances to fulfill divine purposes. Even when the path ahead seems uncertain, we can trust that God is present, bringing light into darkness and opening doors we never imagined.

Today, we honor the history, cultures, traditions, and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples. As people of faith, we are called to listen, learn, and recognize the dignity and worth of every person, celebrating the rich diversity of God’s creation.

May we approach this day with open hearts, a spirit of humility, and a commitment to truth, healing, and reconciliation. May God guide us as we work toward a world where every community is respected, every voice is heard, and every person is valued. ❤️

Today is the Twenteth Sunday after Pentecost!

In Isaiah we are given a vision of the great feast to come, when God will wipe away death forever. In Jesus’ parable about a great banquet, those invited do not come, so the invitation is extended to others. In our liturgy God spreads a table before us. Even amid anxiety and hardship we rejoice in the peace of God which surpasses all understanding. With great joy we feast at the table of the Lord, and we go forth to share the wonderful invitation with others hungering and thirsting for the abundant life of God.

The October Love Offering will benefit Holy Trinity's Bereavement Meals Fund. Holy Trinity helps provide meals for families in our congregation during times of loss. Our Bereavement Meals Fund allows us to offer a simple but meaningful expression of care and compassion when families are grieving. Your generosity helps to provide food and comfort while reminding those who are hurting that they are surrounded by a loving church family. Together, we share God’s love through acts of kindness, compassion, and support.

In Philippians 3, Paul talks about pressing towards the goal to reach the prize of knowing Christ Jesus. Think about a time you tried to reach a goal. What happened? Whether we reach the goal or not, God is always with us. Pray: Lord, help us to keep our eye on the goal, the prize of the “heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.” Amen.

👑 You’re Invited! 👑

In Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus tells a story about a great wedding banquet—a celebration prepared and ready to welcome the guests. But some refuse the invitation, while others are gathered in from the streets and welcomed to the feast.

God’s invitation is still being offered today. ❤️ There is a place at God’s table for each of us—a place of grace, love, forgiveness, and belonging.

What a beautiful reminder that God’s kingdom is not about who we think deserves an invitation. It is about God’s generous love that reaches out and welcomes us all.

🍽️ Come to the table. Receive God’s grace. Share the invitation.

May we live each day with grateful hearts, open doors, and a spirit of welcome. ✝️
