Sometimes the hardest thing we are called to do is forgive.
In Genesis 50:15-21, Joseph had every reason to seek revenge against his brothers. Instead, he chose mercy. He trusted that God could bring good even from the pain and harm he had experienced.
Joseph reminds us that forgiveness does not mean pretending the hurt never happened. It means refusing to let hurt have the final word. With God’s help, grace can overcome bitterness, hope can rise from hardship, and love can lead us forward.
Whatever you may be carrying today, may you find the courage to release it into God’s hands. 💛🙏
“You intended to do harm to me, but God intended it for good.” — Genesis 50:20
