Citizens Akron

Citizens Akron In Acts we see the inception of the church at Pentecost. Then, in Acts 2:42-47, we find the description of how the church functioned.

A neighborhood church that wants to see the Kingdom of God in Akron as it is in Heaven.

2nd, 3rd & 4th Sundays @ 10:30am at The Well & FB Live • 1st Sundays in villages around the city In that description, you find two words, "devoted" and "daily." These two words paint a picture of a lifestyle of Christianity versus an event. If you asked the average American what the church was, they would say

the 80 minute gathering on Sunday morning. We believe this gathering is part of the church, but we believe that the function of God's church is far more robust than that. We believe that wherever Christians are gathered is where the church exists. We seek to be a community of Christ followers, who are devoted to being the church, not only on Sunday, but in the everyday rhythms of life. Our values of Gospel, Family, Mission & For All People informs our three primary structures: Celebration, Villages + Community Outreach.
