St. Sebastian Parish School St. Sebastian Parish School is dedicated to Christ & committed to excellence in education. Since 1929 We are a Catholic School located in West Akron.

We have an enrollment of over 400 students in grades K-8. We follow the curriculum set forth by the Cleveland Diocese and the State of Ohio.

🐾💚THANK YOU, MR. ROHR & WELLER! 💛🐾

As our school year comes to a close and Mr. Rohr and Weller begin a new chapter, we want to thank them for the love, leadership, joy, and dedication they brought to our school community each day. Mr. Rohr faithfully led our school with a heart centered on Christ, helping our students grow in both faith and learning, while Weller brought countless smiles, comfort, and happiness to our hallways.

Their impact on our Terrier family will not be forgotten, and they will always hold a special place in the hearts of our students, families, faculty, and staff.

We wish them both many blessings, happiness, and success on the journey ahead. Thank you for everything, Mr. Rohr and Weller!

Tonight we celebrate our Class of 2026 graduates and welcome them into the proud family of Terrier alumni! We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them many blessings and continued success as they begin their high school journeys. 💚💛🎓

Our graduates will continue their education at a variety of local high schools, with fourteen attending St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, nine attending Archbishop Hoban High School, eight attending Walsh Jesuit High School, and one student each attending Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, Copley High School, Revere High School, and Akron Career Tech High School.

Today at our last all school Mass we said a fond farewell to our retiring teachers Mr. Mason and Mrs. MacKay!

Their love for the arts has left a lasting mark on our school and in the hearts of so many. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, passion, and years of faithful service.

🌱 Congratulations to our 7th grade PlantingScience teams! This spring, students from St. Sebastian Parish School participated in a national science program connecting students with professional plant scientists to conduct original plant investigations and research.
We are proud to share that two of our teams earned Star Project recognition for their creativity, scientific inquiry, and outstanding work!

⭐ Star Project Winners:
Project 2 — Ava, Laura, Zoe, and Bella
Project 7 — Izzy, Havanna, Coralei, and Tenley

This past week, our Band and Choir held their Spring Concert. 🎶 But it was also a special farewell performance for our incredible Band Director, Mr. Mason, as he prepares to retire at the end of the school year.

Thank you, Mr. Mason, for sharing your heart, talent, and dedication with our school community through the years. Your passion for music and commitment to our students helped form not only talented musicians, but confident and creative young people. Through every rehearsal, performance, and original composition, you have left a lasting mark on our school and in the hearts of your students.
