May this Pentecost inspire us to be amazed and astonished by the continued work of the Holy Spirit among us. Let our hearts be stirred so that we faithfully answer the Spirit’s calling, until all people in the world hear in their own language how deep and rich is the love of God.

With solemnity and grief, we mark Good Friday. It is a sad day, for Jesus gave up his life for us. It is a good day, for God loved us so much, he gave up his Son for us.

“All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. ... Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord and proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn, saying that he has done it.” —Psalm 22:27, 30-31
