Graduates Sunday
This year’s celebration was a grand event.
The MC did a tremendous job keeping everyone’s attention.
Alessandra Dickos gave a wonderful speech. And our church filled with amazing high school and college students show us all we are in good hands.
Congrats to Chris and Shelly Partis and their committee on a special event.

A great homily today. Thank you Father!
**What's in it for us?**

St. Peter asked Jesus a question many of us have wondered: *What do we gain by following You?*

Jesus' answer reminds us that God's Kingdom works differently than the world. The world rewards recognition and status; God rewards humility and faithful service.

Humility isn't thinking less of ourselves—it's putting God first and recognizing that every blessing comes from Him. When we serve quietly, love generously, and seek God's glory instead of our own, we are storing up treasures that last forever.

So when others praise our efforts, may our response be simple:

“Glory to God”.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Father Dean reminded us on Sunday that the Apostles didn't fight the wind—they moved with it. That wind was the Holy Spirit, guiding and strengthening them.

Life isn't always easy. Challenges don't magically disappear because we have faith. But when we allow God to guide us, we don't carry those burdens alone.

So when life feels like too much, ask yourself: Am I working with the Holy Spirit—or against it?

Today’s sermon on the Fathers of the First Council of Nicaea was a powerful reminder that truth is not something we reinvent to fit our culture—it is revealed to us through Christ. In a world full of confusion and competing voices, the Nicene Creed remains a clear and steady confession of who Jesus truly is: “True God of true God.” Faith is not built on trends or opinions, but on the cornerstone the builders rejected—our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
