Ever felt like you’re wearing a suit, or an expectation, that just doesn’t fit?

We’ve all been there. We buy into the templates culture hands us: the "perfect" career path, the "flawless" family image, or even a mold of what a "good Christian" is supposed to look like. We walk around stiff, exhausted, and suffocating under heavy, clunky "armor" that belonged to someone else in the first place.

This Sunday at 10:30 AM, we are diving into a famous story with a funny, awkward, and incredibly freeing twist. Before David ever fought Goliath, King Saul tried to shove him into royal bronze armor. David took two steps, realized he couldn't move, and had the courage to say, "I cannot go in these, because I am not used to them."

So he stripped it off, went down to the stream, and grabbed five smooth stones.

If you are tired of performing, pretending, or feeling like you have to copy someone else’s strengths to be successful, this message is for you. Your true power isn't found in wearing someone else's armor, it’s found in your authenticity before God.

Come discover what your "five smooth stones" are, and learn how to drop the heavy expectations you were never meant to carry.

​Lord God, today we lift up the memories of the brave men and women who lost their lives defending our freedom. We thank You for their sacrifice. We ask that You wrap Your comforting arms around the families who still miss them deeply. Guide our nation in the ways of peace, justice, and truth. Amen.
