This nation as well as this world lost an incredible man today. The Bible tells us you’ll know them by their fruit. Charlie was not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and proclimed it with boldness.

This was not a senseless act of violence. This was an assassination to shut a message up. My prayer is that God will raise a million people up in his place with a louder voice.

New Hope Ministries in Akron, Michigan are praying for the family of Charlie Kirk.

Thank you, Charlie, for being a living example to us all on how to be bold about our faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for being an example and showing us how to stand up against the evil in this world.

Daily Reflections

Fear will only see things in part. It sees that we may lose something that we hold dear to us, such as our possessions, our health or someone we love. Fear always sees the potential for loss with microscopic scrutiny. Fear never sees God’s presence, it doesn’t recognize His faithfulness or remember His promises; instead fear fixates on unseen things or events that are dominated by what is merely seen with the eye.

In World War II General George Patton said, “Courage is fear holding on a minute longer.” Now that is a pretty profound statement when you think about it. It’s when you give in to your fears; you will find yourself on the fast track to defeat. But if you will stand strong and keep your feet firmly planted where you stand in spite of your fears, you will find that you are well on your way down the path to victory. And the one thing that we should never forget is that we are not in the battle alone. With God on our side, we cannot be defeated.

The earliest churches obeyed the Great Commission by planting new congregations to carry out the assignments of discipling, baptizing, and teaching that would begin the multiplication process of planting more and more churches. If you notice, the process begins and ends in obedience.
