Don't confuse the gospel and what the gospel produces. Salvation is by faith and faith alone. It is NOT do these things in order to be saved. It IS be saved in order to do these things. It IS be saved and God will fill you with His spirit to empower you to change over time. You don't change and then come to Jesus. You enslave yourself when you get this backward. You don't have to (and can't) clean yourself up before coming to Jesus.

"I am thankful that we do not need to understand prayer in order to pray. At least, we do not need to exhaustively understand prayer in order to pray. We do not need to have an answer to every question or a resolution to every mystery. The biblical command is not to figure out prayer or iron out every dilemma of prayer, but simply to pray.

I take that to mean that we should not allow our lack of understanding to lead to a lack of prayer. We should not allow our confusion to excuse hesitation. Instead, we should press on in obedience and faith—obedience to God’s clear command and faith that prayers are meaningful to God. We should press on in earnest prayer, in confident prayer, in constant prayer, and in all kinds of prayer, trusting that God loves to hear them and act upon them."

Come and worship and CELEBRATE with us this Sunday!

Worship is at 10:30am at church. We'll conclude the service with communion and then make our way down to Bill and Joenie Haas' home on Mille Lacs near Malmo. Address is 32943 State HWY 18 W

Following the baptisms will will be having a potluck with hot dogs provided. Please bring a chair and a dish to pass!

Sorry for the late notice - there will be no Meal, no MAD4Christ Youth Group and no KidMin at Glory Baptist Church tonight. Visibility is deteriorating in some areas and a fair number of families still can't get out of their driveways!

Student ministries kick off tonight!

Family meal at 6:00pm in our lower level. All are welcome to join this meal, you don't have have/be a student to eat!

6:30pm KidMin and MAD4Christ Youth Group begin!

KidMin runs from 6:30-8:00pm and parents are encourage/requested to stay with us tonight and sit in on the program! Pre-K-6th grades. Pastor Chris Meirose will be teaching and we will be studying the attributes of God this year!

MAD4Christ runs from 6:30-8:30pm and Pastor Kevin Pietz will be teaching. MAD4Christ meet in our lower level in the youth room.

Invite friends and come on out and join us!

Our VBS offerings will all be given to our sister church in Ukraine to help support their ministry including their VBS and outreach to refugees caused by the war with Russia in case you would like to donate!
