So often we pray the present but we need to also keep this verse in mind. There are times when the best prayer is to call forth what God sees in the future. Calling things that are not as though they were.

A good example of that is if you have a mate or a child who is doing things that are not in their best interests. to ask God for a vision of how He sees them and call forth the man or woman of God in that person.
