“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

Devotion — Who Commands the Sea?

Sometimes the waves of life feel bigger than we can handle. Fear, uncertainty, disappointment, and circumstances can make us wonder how we will ever make it through.

But the size of the waves does not change the size of our God. The same Jesus who calmed the storm on the sea is still with us in the storms we face today.

You may not be able to control the waves, but you can trust the One who commands them. When fear rises, remember Who is in the boat with you. God is greater than anything coming against you.

When God Calls, Answer

Sometimes God’s voice comes as a gentle nudge, a burden on our heart, or a repeated feeling that we can’t shake. We may try to ignore it, stay busy, or convince ourselves we’re not ready. But when God has a purpose for us, He keeps calling.

The question isn’t whether God is calling—it’s whether we’re willing to pick up and say, “Yes, Lord.” His calling may stretch us, but He will also equip us for what He asks us to do.

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’”

5th Fusion Youth Rally @ Higgston Baptist Church

When a group of kids come together to worship Jesus, something incredible happens. Hearts are changed, lives are touched, and God’s presence fills the room.

Sunday night wasn’t about us—it was all about JESUS!

We are so thankful for every young person who came, every parent who supported them, every volunteer who served, and every church that helped make this night possible.

To God be ALL the glory!
Jesus is still changing lives!

Devotion — You Are Not Your Past

Sometimes we look in the mirror and see everything we’ve done wrong, every mistake we wish we could undo, and every chapter we wish we could rewrite. But God doesn’t look at us through the lens of our past—He sees who we are becoming through His grace.

Your mistakes may be part of your story, but they do not have to be the ending. God can take the broken pieces, teach us through our struggles, and use them to grow us into something stronger.

Today, stop holding yourself hostage to yesterday. Give your past to God and trust Him with your next chapter. You can change. You can grow. You can begin again—not because you are perfect, but because God’s grace is greater than your past.
