Everything Belongs to God

Psalm 24:1 reminds us that everything around us belongs to the Lord—the earth, our lives, our families, our homes, and every blessing we have. Sometimes we can become so focused on what we have that we forget Who it all came from.

God is the giver of every good thing. When we remember that, it changes the way we live. We become more thankful, more generous, and more trusting. Even when life doesn’t look the way we hoped, we can rest knowing that God is still in control and everything is ultimately in His hands.

Today, take a moment to thank God for what He has entrusted to you. It all belongs to Him, and He is faithful to care for what is His.

God Sees Your Faithfulness

Hebrews 6:10 (ASV)

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

There are times when we serve, give, encourage, pray, and help others, yet wonder if anyone notices. Sometimes the work we do for the Lord feels small or goes unnoticed by people. But God sees it all.

Hebrews 6:10 reminds us that God does not forget the love we show through our actions. Every meal prepared, every prayer prayed, every kind word spoken, every person helped, and every sacrifice made in His name matters to Him.

We don’t serve because we need recognition from people—we serve because we love the Lord. And when our hearts are faithfully serving Him, He sees what others may never see.

So don’t grow weary when your work seems unnoticed. Keep serving. Keep loving. Keep helping. Keep showing up. Your faithfulness is never wasted in God’s kingdom.

Today, be encouraged: God has not forgotten you, and He has not forgotten the work you are doing for Him. Continue to love and serve others, trusting that the One who sees everything will take care of the reward.

But Then, God Showed Up

There are moments in life when we wonder how we’re going to make it through. We face situations that seem impossible, doors that appear closed, and circumstances that leave us asking, “What am I going to do now?”

He has a way of stepping into our story at just the right moment. What looked like the end becomes a new beginning. What seemed impossible becomes a testimony. And what we thought would break us becomes another reminder of just how faithful God is.

God may not always show up when we expect Him to, but He is always right on time. Every chapter of our lives is another opportunity to see His goodness, His faithfulness, and His hand working behind the scenes.

So whatever you’re facing today, keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep believing.

Because there may be a “but then” coming in your story too.

“But then the Lord showed up…”
— Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” — Matthew 6:34

How often do we allow tomorrow to steal the peace God has given us today?

We worry about what might happen, how things will work out, what decisions we will have to make, and what the future holds. But the truth is, tomorrow is not ours to carry. God has already gone before us.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6 that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need. If He takes care of the birds of the air and clothes the flowers of the field, how much more will He care for us?

We don’t have to have tomorrow figured out today. We simply need to trust the One who already knows tomorrow.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

So today, release the worry.
Release the what-ifs.
Release the need to know every detail.

Give tomorrow to God and focus on what He has placed in front of you today.

God is already in tomorrow. You just need to trust Him with today.
