An Altar Moment Prayer Genesis 22:9-14
Father, we stand at the altar. Some of us have been building it for a long time. Some of us are just now arriving at the mountain. And some of us are in the knife moment - holding on, waiting for Your voice, trusting that You have not forgotten us. We declare today that You are Jehovah Jireh. You are the God who provides. Not sometimes. Not occasionally. Always. You prepared the ram before we started the walk. You have already made provision for what we need on the other side of this surrender. Give us the faith of Abraham - not the faith that never struggles, but the faith that keeps moving anyway. The faith that builds the altar with trembling hands. The faith that binds what it loves most because it trusts You more. The faith that holds the knife and waits for Your voice. We trust You with our Isaacs. We trust You with our altars. We trust You with our knife moments. And we believe — we choose to believe — that on the mountain of the Lord, it will be provided. In Jesus' name, Amen.
