Honduras Agape Foundation The Honduras Agape Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to sharing God's love and supporting our sisters and brothers in Honduras.

Our goal is to manifest the love of Jesus Christ to the people of Honduras by partnering with the local community members to provide medical and health care and educational support, construction of homes and other community facilities, and care for the children. HAF will also encourage and support the outreach of the local Christian believers within their communities.

Last day in Quimistan. We visited the school at Los Panales for one last VBS and medical brigade. Then we made a few touristy stops at a coffee shop and a souvenir stand before visiting Tranquilidad to see all the good work they are doing there. Tomorrow we fly home with lots of great memories.

Today was a work day in Tejeras. We performed the following:
Covered some new tables for the kindergarten
Assembled, sanded and painted some new shelves
Painted the inside of the classroom
Painted the outside of the classroom
Helped with feeding the children
Distributed rice and beans to the community

Today we journeyed into the mountains and visited two schools: Laguna del Carmen and Tierra Amarilla. At both stops we did more VBS lessons as well as medical brigades, but the main thing I've learned is regardless of where they are kids always know what to do with Frisbees and soccer balls.

This morning's first stop was at Light of the Valley school. We taught the children a Bible story about Jesus feeding the 5000, taught them how to wash their hands and brush their teeth, and generally just had fun with them.
