Pastor: Ross Smith

Pastor Ross Smith joined Rocky Springs as it's Pastor in 2023. Prior to coming to Rocky Springs, Pastor Ross served as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church Wagener for eight years. Pastor Ross and his wife, Jennifer, felt a clear calling to come to Rocky Springs and are excited about

what the Lord is doing in and through this church family. As a retired teacher, Ross is a lifelong learner and strives to preach the word of God faithfully. He has a heart for missions and desires that all people will come to know Jesus Christ as their savior. Pastor Ross has earned both a Bachelors and Masters Education and graduated from Covington Seminary with a Masters of Ministry in 2023. They have two children, Ross, who is married to Ashley, and Libby who is married to Jake. They are Pawpaw and Mamaw to three beautiful granddaughters. Ross loves spending time with his family, watching UGA sports, "talking" about playing golf, and traveling.
