We finished our 3rd and final night of VBS. It was a blast!

Thank you for all the hard work from volunteers we had each night. Because you cared, parents were able to have time to themselves and enjoy nights out knowing their babies were being cared for and having fun.

Our final Bible lesson was on anger. We were able to learn about Cain and Abel . To finish our lesson, we learned tools on ways to help when we are angry such as trying to move the wall, hugs, a quiet spot, take a walk, deep breaths, etc.

Day 2 of VBS!

We had so much fun tonight that we forgot to take pictures! We had a full class and were ready to dance, learn about anxiety, what we can do when we are faced with anxiety, Moses and the burning bush, and last but not least make sensory boards.

We hope to see you tomorrow for our last day of vbs 😆

Day 1 of VBS fun. Our special education department “In His Image” had a blast tonight. We spoke about things that have scared us and how we don’t have to be afraid because the Lord is with us. Because He is with us, we are able to be calm. We combined the scared emotion with Daniel and him being in the lion’s Den.

We played glow in the dark bowling, played in our ball pit, made lions with forks and danced to the fun music.

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

Join us for VBS!! June 17th-June 19th beginning at 6pm each night. Ages 4 through 5th grade are welcome to join us as we play games, sing, and worship with Team Blackout! We will be collecting school supplies again this year. Register using the link below!

Good morning,

December 11th after church, the special needs ministry at Mercy Church will be combining with Stepping Stones Ministry to help give Christmas to the special needs adults at the group home in Allendale.

This group home is personally special to my family and I as this is where my Uncle resides.

We had a blast year and would love for Christmas carols to be included as the residents and the workers loved the holiday cheer.

Please let me know either through messenger or text if you are interested in participating again this year. The more the merrier!

Bring your horn or your voice and help spread Christmas cheer. If you can’t do either, we would love help giving out gifts!

Watching fireworks can be really fun! But, for some children, the loud noises can cause a lot of fear and anxiety...making it a not so fun
