hat We Believe
• We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, a revelation from God to man.
• We believe in the Triune Godhead with distinct personalities; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and function as one entity.
• We believe that man, by transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
• We believe that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works.
• We believe that the ordinance of baptism by a submersion with Christ should be observed as a commandment in the Scriptures by all who have really repented and in their hearts believe in Christ as their Savior and Lord.
• We believe that the partaking of the Lord’s Supper is an essential act of obedience and worship and carries with it all the blessings associated with glorifying Christ through faithful adherence to His commands.
• We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer is an integral part of this general assembly.
• We believe in the Blessed Hope, that Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to Heaven. Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer from eternal separation, everlasting punishment in the second death, the lake of fire.

❓Are you still carrying the weight of old failures, old labels, or old versions of yourself?

❓What if you stopped thinking about who you used to be—and started resting in who Jesus has made you?

Freedom isn't found in trying harder to become someone new; it is actually found in remembering what Jesus has already accomplished and in living like the son/daughter who belongs to Him.

Tomorrow, we’ll be in the book of Galatians for a message entitled “The Liberty of Sonship.”

Come hear what God’s Word says about who you are in Christ and the freedom we have because of what Jesus did on the cross.

Join Greater Faith tomorrow at 10:30 am as we delve into Levi's (Matthew's) decision to follow Jesus.

Sometimes following Jesus means leaving behind what is comfortable, familiar, or holding us back. It may require us to lay down our plans, our excuses, our fears, or even the things we thought we could never live without.

Tomorrow, you will be challenged to answer the question: What are you willing to leave behind to follow Him?

Join us tomorrow as we dive into Matthew 25:1–13 and uncover the warning Jesus gives through this New Testament parable.

We will take some time to dig deeper into the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. The foolish virgins asked the wise for oil, but the wise could not give them what they needed. Some things in life nobody else can do for you, and your relationship with the Lord is one of them.

Join us as we talk about "The Problem with Unpreparedness".

This past Saturday, Greater Faith Non-Denominational Church had the joy of welcoming new students to Chowan University! 💜

We welcomed them to the area, shared a little about our church, and reminded them that they have a community ready to love, support, and pray for them as they begin this new chapter.

To both new and returning students, welcome to Chowan University...Welcome to the community! And most importantly, know that there is a place for you at Greater Faith. 🙏🏽💜

Her faith, sacrifice, love, and commitment helped lay the foundation upon which Greater Faith stands today. We are excited to welcome Wanda Barnes as our special guest speaker!

Join Greater Faith this Sunday, August 9th, as we continue Part 2 of the "MARKED Series": Marked By Grace.

In Numbers 6:22–27, God instructed Moses to speak a blessing over His people: “The LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. Then God said, “So shall they put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
There was a blessing. There was a covering.
And there was God’s Name being placed upon His people.

But the question is: Where do we see the ultimate fulfillment of this blessing? Look to Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:19–22 declares that the fullness of God dwells in Christ and that through Him, God reconciles us to Himself, “having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

What Numbers promised, Christ fulfills.

🌧️ When the Storm Comes... What's Revealed? 🌧️

Join us tomorrow at Greater Faith Non-Denominational Church for a powerful message entitled "The Storm Response" (James 1:2-4).

Storms don't come to "do the work"—they come to reveal the work that has already been done on the inside of you. When the winds blow and the rain falls, our response exposes the condition of our faith. God doesn't waste our storms; He uses them to reveal endurance, maturity, and the transforming work of His Spirit.
