Eid-ul-Adha Prayer Times

In shaa Allah, Eid-ul-Adha 1447/2026 will be on Wed, May 27, 2026.

The Eid Prayer will be held at the ETCIC, 12585 Hudson Road S., Afton, MN 55001. There will be Four Prayer sessions. Please see the flyer below for Prayer Times.

To accommodate the community and to avoid traffic congestion including on Hudson Rd, please arrive early. No admittance will be allowed for late arrivals or if the Prayer Hall or the parking lot is full.

Please bring prayer mats with you as Gym will be used for overlfow prayer space once the main hall is full.

Please try your best to attend the earlier sessions to avoid congestion at the later ones.

Also please depart immediately after the khutbah is over to make room in the parking lot for people coming in for the next session and avoid traffic congestion in the parking lot and on Hudson Rd

Eid Prayer – Friday, March 20 @ M Health Fairview Sports Center

In accordance with the decision of the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA), Eid ul-Fitr for 1447 AH / 2026 will be observed on Friday, March 20, Insha Allah.

There will be two Eid prayer sessions—please refer to the flyer for detailed timings.

Important Information

• Arrive early: Parking will fill up quickly, and late arrivals may face delays. Be sure to account for the walking time from your parking spot to the Sports Center, which is going to be longer than at the masjid.

• Parking guidelines:
o Parking is permitted only in designated parking lots.
o The Sports Center has two lots (front and back).
o Once full, please park at East Ridge High School or nearby sports field lots and walk to the venue.
o Street parking is strictly prohibited and may result in tickets issued by Woodbury Police.

• Try your best to attend the first session: You will faster access to the Prayer space and this will help reduce congestion during the second prayer.

• Bring a prayer rug: The facility has turf flooring, which may not be comfortable for sitting.

• Limited seating available: If you require a chair, please bring one with you if possible.

Khatam al Quran Tarawih prayer will begin with the recitation of Al-A'la:1

By the fig and the olive ˹of Jerusalem˺, and Mount Sinai, and this secure city ˹of Mecca˺! Indeed, We created humans in the best form. (At-tin:1-4)

By the ˹passage of˺ time! Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss, except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance. (Al-Asr:1-3)

Subhan Allah, the blessed month of Ramadan has passed so quickly, and now we have only one final odd night remaining before it departs.

Join us, Insha Allah, for Khatm al-Qur’an (completion of the Qur’an recitation) during Taraweeh on the 29th night of Ramadan - Tuesday, March 17 Insha Allah, and take advantage of these precious moments before Ramadan leaves us.

This is an odd night, with a strong possibility of being Laylatul Qadr—a night better than a thousand months.

“Seek Laylatul Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan, on the odd nights: the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th.”

03/16/2026 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from An-Naba:1

Surely this ˹Quran˺ is only a reminder to the whole world— to whoever of you wills to take the Straight Way. But you cannot ˹to do so˺, except by the Will of Allah, the Lord of all worlds. (Al-Tkwir:27-29)

In fact, this is a glorious Quran, ˹recorded˺ in a Preserved Tablet. (Al-Buruj:21-22)

Surely this ˹Quran˺ is a decisive word, and is not to be taken lightly. (At-Tariq:15-16)

˹Allah will say to the righteous,˺ “O tranquil soul! Return to your Lord, well pleased ˹with Him˺ and well pleasing ˹to Him˺. So join My servants, and enter My Paradise.” (Al-Fajr:27-30)
