🍦 SUNDAE SUNDAY! 🍨
Can you believe summer is winding down? This Sunday, August 9th, is officially our FINAL summer sovKids! To wrap up our Fruit of the Spirit series, we’re throwing a Fruit Ice Cream Sundae Party! 🍇🍓 We’ll have delicious treats and fun as we celebrate everything our kids learned about love, joy, peace, and kindness this season. After a week at Trout Lake Bible Camp, our campers headed home with great memories and stories to share. There’s nothing quite like seeing these reunion hugs after an amazing week. Thanks to everyone who helped make camp such a meaningful experience!

Last call for all our favorite camp adventures! We made the most of every minute because if it’s the last full day at Trout Lake Bible Camp, you have to go all in. Safe to say... we aren’t ready to leave! ❤️

Wednesday at Trout Lake Bible Camp is all about going higher... sometimes way higher. 😅
Today our campers climbed, zipped, and even took the Leap of Faith—standing on top of a telephone pole before stepping off into the air. It’s amazing what happens when fear meets courage (and a really good harness!).
While the adventures make for great pictures, the best part of camp isn’t measured in feet off the ground. It’s found in the friendships being built, the confidence that’s growing, and the ways God is reminding each camper that He is faithful—even when life feels a little scary.

Tuesday at Trout Lake Bible Camp = success. 😎 Today’s highlights included hanging on for dear life during banana boating, making new four-legged horse friends, and watching Wild Woods campers (willingly!) launch themselves down “The Plunge”. Safe to say there were plenty of laughs, a few screams, and lots of memories made.

The photos say it better than we can—but here’s a glimpse of another great day at camp!

The heat didn’t slow us down on our second day at Trout Lake—we embraced it with plenty of water activities to stay cool while making unforgettable memories. From splashing around to enjoying games, crafts, and other camp adventures, there was never a dull moment!

Trout Lake Bible Camp is officially underway! ☀️
Today, 85 amazing kids arrived with sovKids, got settled into their cabins, met their counselors, and jumped right into the first chapels and tabernacle sessions of the week.
We’re grateful for safe travels and a great start to what we know will be an incredible week. Please keep our campers, counselors, and staff in your prayers as we learn more about God’s love and make memories that will last a lifetime!

What a great evening together!
This week, so many sovKids families gathered at Lakeside Park for our annual Family Picnic. We enjoyed a delicious Chick-fil-A dinner and spent time connecting with one another. One of our favorite parts of sovKids is that church doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings—it’s a community of families growing together all week long. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fun night. We loved spending the evening with you!

Nothing says summer like good food, great friends, and an evening at the park! Join us for the sovKids Family Picnic on Tuesday, July 7 at 5:30 PM at Lakeside Park in Bayport. We’ll have Chick-fil-A for dinner, plenty of fun for the whole family, and a relaxed evening to connect with other sovKids families.
