As more families across Lenawee County face food insecurity, Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry continues to respond with compassion—providing food, hope, and dignity to our neighbors in need.

Today, we would like to recognize our wonderful friends at West Rome Baptist Church, whose congregation faithfully supports our mission by hosting food collections twice each year. Thanks to their generosity, they donated an incredible 372 pounds of food to Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry last month!

✅ 372 pounds of food means more meals on family tables.
✅ More support for neighbors facing difficult times.
✅ More hope shared throughout our community.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership, your compassion, and your commitment to serving others. Together, we are putting God's love into action and making a real difference—one meal, one family, and one act of kindness at a time. Please join us in thanking West Rome Baptist Church for helping us nourish our community and spread hope throughout Lenawee County!

Thank you to those who attended our 20th Annual Banquet Saturday night! We had a great time celebrating how powerfully God is moving to restore the lives of those hurting and lost in our community!

The evening included a delicious meal prepared by Bryon at First United Methodist Church of Adrian, moving testimonies, music by Pickin' Roots, and updates on Neighbors Of Hope. Including the introduction of the new Pantry Manager of Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry, Dawn Vogel.

Time was taken to recognize and express our deep appreciation toward some of those who help make this ministry possible. Special recognition was granted to Phil Whit for his contributions to this ministry as a volunteer, and a special "Ministry Award" was given to David Lupone for his dedication, passion, and commitment to our mission and for several years of working with Neighbors of Hope.

Thank you to the special guest speakers, Senator Joe Bellino, and Nancy Jenkins-Arno - State Representative. We thank you for your support in making this evening exceptional.

Thanks to the generosity of several churches, businesses, and individuals, more than $7,000 was raised to help the hungry, homeless, and hurting in our community. We also want to thank First United Methodist Church of Adrian, Michigan for providing the space and hospitality. Your generosity helped make this event possible.

The evening was truly a blessed evening and spotlighted the majestic power of God’s grace fully present in the healing and restoration of our neighbors' lives.
