Father’s Day

The world says, “do all the things so that we can know God.” If the doors are open we need to be there because the world expects it all from us.” And yet God says, “slow down. Rest. Walk with me. Talk to me. Get to know me.”

The world says, “this learning about God isn’t working for me. It takes too much time…I don’t understand scripture…I don’t understand so much…”

God doesn’t care if we know all the right words and can impress people with our biblical references and knowledge of doctrine. God wants us to know how to love in such real and powerful ways that it penetrates not only our heart, but the hearts of others. He wants us to speak truth in this life and to find the kind of peace that gives us meaningful rest.

Matthew 11:8 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

“Shining His Light to the World

Matthew 5:16 (KJV) - "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Philippians 2:15 (KJV) - "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world."
Proverbs 4:18 (KJV) - "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."

Devotional:
The light of Jesus in you was never meant to be hidden or contained. God’s design is that His light would shine through your life into the world around you. Every act of love, obedience, forgiveness, and faith becomes a reflection of Christ to others. Your light does not draw attention to yourself—it points people toward the Father.

You do not need a platform to shine His light. It shines through how you treat others, how you respond to challenges, and how you live with hope in a broken world. As you continue walking with Jesus, His light in you will grow brighter. Step by step, your life becomes a testimony that God is real, faithful, and near.”
