Faith Baptist Church would like to thank the Lenawee County Sheriff's Department and the Adrian Township Police/Fire/EMT crews for making our first Awana night incredible by bringing out their emergency vehicles. Everyone loved seeing them and watching the lights as we got to look inside and the tools of their job. We continue to pray for all our emergency workers as they continue to keep us safe. May God bless them and keep them safe.

What a great night at Awana tonight.
Good food, fun, games, ice cream and most importantly truth from God's word. We are loving the energy these Clubbers are bringing to the club, and their desire to have their friends join us also. Next week is B.A.R.F night where the Clubbers are asked to Bring A Real Friend. We hope to see many guest next week. Thank you for letting Faith Baptist Church Awana Club be the place to help you teach the truths from God to you child.

🎃🎃🎃We will be having a trunk or treat at Awana this Sunday. Also remember you may wear your costumes as long as they are kid friendly and not scary. We have gotten over 1500 pieces of candy so there is plenty to go around. Hope to see you there! 🎃🎃🎃

We have seen God moving in the Faith Baptist Awana program starting during the modified club last year and into this years. Last year the energy and excitement was at a high. The number of Clubbers stayed up and we attributed it to the lack of other things happening at that time. As this Awana year started the excitement and energy of the last year continues and the number of Clubbers is growing. We were not all surprised because God had laid on all the Leaders hearts to return this year, and we added two new Leaders that wanted to work areas that was most needed. God is good.

The first Awana night we introduced the fact that God’s gift (grace) is a free gift that we did not earn (Ephesians 2:8-9) and gave a gift to every Clubber and asked the Sparks and T&T clubs what they did to earn it and that understood that it was a gift that was given not because they did something to earn. Not knowing how many Clubbers to expect we bought every working item they had in the shelf we intended to give thinking we can put the leftovers in our Awana Store but that didn’t happen. The exact number of items we bought was the same number of Clubbers that showed up that night. Again, God is good.

The second night we let every clubber that completed a section spray a can of silly string on me and we decided to get plenty of it and ordered 48 cans of it. The excitement of emptying a can of silly string was there and every Clubber in all the clubs that completes sections did a section (Puggles again got grace). Again, God was good and put in our hearts to order 48 cans because we used every can up that night due to the number of Clubbers He sent us that night.

The third night was Dog Show Night at Awana. The Clubbers had a great time running obstacles with their stuffed dogs and they ate Scooby Snacks (graham crackers). The Clubbers loved it and with our fourth night coming up, Friend Party Night, I heard a couple of them say they are inviting all their friends. God is good and is working on the hearts of the Clubbers this year for sure.

We hope to see many guests come this week as we are throwing a Friend Party. There will be cake, balloons and a lot of fun.

What a great night at Awana. There was excitement in the air. We talked about God's grace and salvation through Jesus Christ. Saw some new faces and many returning but everyone came together to make it a great night. Hope to see everyone come back next week and maybe bring a friend. Next week is Bible Night where the Clubbers will earn $5 Awana Bucks for bringing their Bible with them. God bless and have a great week. We are praying for all of you and your families.

Good news! This Sunday at Faith Baptist the Awana program starts back up at 5:45pm. This year is going to be exciting with new games and lessons from the Bible. Last Sunday all kids in junior church received a letter, contact card and two Awana Bucks that they can use to buy things from our Awana store. If you would fill out the contact card and bring it back Sunday we would greatly appreciate it. We hope to see everyone there.

In case you have not read the notice sent home, we want to make sure you know that this coming Sunday will be the last Awana night before summer. It is great what God has done for our club this year and we are thankful every week that He has kept us all safe so we could continue another week. Last summer as the new Awana year was approaching we didn't know what was going to happen. But through prayer and faith in what God can do, we were able to meet together. We thank you all for bringing your Clubber to Awana and when we start back up in the fall we hope they all return for another great year. This Sunday we will celebrate with some ice cream and a whole lot of fun. God bless you and have a great week.

This has been a great Awana year. Big thank you to all the parents and grandparents that have brought Clubbers out for Faith Baptist Awana club this year. This week in Awana is Goofy Glasses Night. Reminder that if Clubbers bring in goofy glasses they will be entered in a drawing for a special prize. I hope to see everyone there and God bless you all.
