It might be Sunday but we’re still not over everything that God did in our “Masks” series over the last three Wednesday nights! Here’s a recap of what we learned:

1. We don’t have to hide because of our SHAME because that shame has already been PAID FOR on the cross (Adam and Eve)
2. We don’t have to hide because of our SELF-IMPOSED LIMITATIONS because it was never our ABILITY that produced God’s call on our lives in the first place (Saul and Moses)
3. When we choose to hide God does not PUNISH us for punishment’s sake; rather he PROVIDES incentives to change our course (Jonah)

Kick ball has been POSTPONED, but you should still come to church!

Since there are homecoming activities and a football game tonight we’re pushing slip and slide kickball back one week. Instead, we’ll have a short message, spend some time in prayer, and then spend the rest of the night playing all of your favorite games. Invite someone to join you!

What a weekend! We were honored to take over our Sunday morning worship service alongside the future members of this crazy family we call Resonate Youth. Donuts were served, doors were opened, missionaries were equipped, and most importantly, the Lord was exalted.

This week has been anything but normal, but we’re excited to get to serve our community again tonight! We’ve got two opportunities for you to be a part of:

1) We will be serving a free meal (spaghetti) to our community at 6:30. The past two nights the response to free meals has been overwhelming. If you are able to come early at 5:30 and help prepare, please do so!

2) While the meal is being served, we will have others preparing snack lunches to be given away tomorrow to children who are dependent on school lunches to eat…which means right now they are not getting anything.

Come lend a hand and let’s be the church!

We need your help!

Hurricane Helene left her mark on our community but also left us with an incredible chance to be the church and to help those in need. We’ve got an older couple in the church that could use a helping hand in getting their yard cleaned up, so if you’re available tomorrow morning at 8:00 am come join us at 106 Fulwood Drive! Let’s serve together!
