It's been a busy week here at St. Patrick, while welcoming our new priest, Father Thomas! Over the weekend several parishioners helped clean the rectory and he moved his things in. On Monday Fr. Thomas and several of his priests friends came and gave him a blessing here at the church! We have organized and rearranged his office! Fr. Thomas had his 1st Mass here at St. Patrick this week and Fr. Weis came by for a visit!

He is excited for the weekend Masses and to meet everyone! We hope you will join us this weekend here at St. Patrick!

This weekend we were given the news that Fr. Weis will be assigned to St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Leeds, AL starting July 1st. We are grateful for the time Fr. Weis has spent with us and the many ways he has strengthened our parish family. As he moves to his new assignment, we send him with our prayers, love, and support. Please join us in praying for him as he begins this next chapter. 💚

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. The Gospel reading at Mass is the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, which is usually proclaimed in parts with the people reading the lines of the crowd. At one point, the crowd says the word "prophesy." If you're not sure how to pronounce it, this graphic may help! Say it so it rhymes with "pie."
