Camps at Claggett Camps at Claggett is the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland's summer camp! Spend a week making friends, growing in faith, and having outdoor adventures!

Activities: ropes courses, hiking, singing, worship, bible studies, creek stomps, square dances, swimming, and canoeing to name just a few! Interests: Being a good steward of God's Creation, Small groups

Camp prep isn’t all fun and games, sometimes it’s the annual day-long Camp Directors training with the state of Maryland! Every year the Department of Health (who is our Camp Licensing agency) has updates to share to improve the safety of summer camps in Maryland. Sara will make sure to bring all of this knowledge back to Claggett to keep us as safe as possible this summer!

If you’re not registered for camp yet, today’s a great day to do it! And, college students, don’t forget to get your senior staff applications in! Offer letters will begin going out this week.

The sun is out later in the day, the weather is warming up, and spirits are bright. That combination can only mean one thing — summer is coming up! Claggett Camps are preparing for a historic year full of new experiences and classic traditions alike. Like any other year, the camp magic will be made by senior counselors, junior counselors, nurses, chaplains, adult volunteers, mental health professionals, and an assistant camp director, all who work with the year-round Programs Director. If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, get ready to apply! The new, online application system opens on Monday.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, Claggett Camps shared with all: twelve Adventure Campers (and one counselor, and one chaplain) gathered around a crowded table indeed!
