Mrs. Barbara Sue Ware, age 82 of Sugar Valley, Georgia was called Home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 12, 2024 after a brief, yet courageous fight with cancer. Ms. Barbara was born on August 6, 1942 in Jasper, GA. She was married to her dear husband, Harvey for 63 years and together they dedicated their lives to serving the Lord. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Von (Lisa), Elizabeth and Stephen (Melissa). Their family grew in love with many grandchildren; Megan, Morgan, Ian (Gabriella), Abby (Dan), Taylor (James), Tatum (Josh) and Carley. They also enjoyed great-grandchildren; Chasity, Brylen and Stella Grace.
She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie Ray and sister, Ruth Parker. She was predeceased by her mother Grace Pauline Caylor, father Elmer Leslie Ray and her sister, Joyce Carr.
Ms. Barbara loved her dear family. She enjoyed visits, family trips and gatherings and taking pictures of her loved ones. Her family meant the world to her and she beamed with pride and love every time she saw them.
Ms. Barbara loved her dear friends. She made friends everywhere she went and always saw the best in everyone. You couldn’t help but love her she was so sweet and kind.
Ms. Barbara loved her church. Being at church was her favorite place to be! Worshipping God and singing hymns filled her heart and soul.
She was certainly our beautiful prayer warrior. When she said she would pray for you she certainly kept her word. What a blessing. She enjoyed her flowers and made delicious meals, cakes and biscuits. “No brag, just fact”. She was always giving compliments and encouragement. It just came natural to her. Her smile was so warm and comforting like a ray of sunshine. Ms. Barbara lived her life after a Proverbs 31 woman. Her love for her family, helpmeet to her husband, trust in God, and her grace upon grace was a beautiful testimony of her godly life. She was “top shelf, no dust”!
