Join us for an unforgettable week at Vacation Bible School as we explore the exciting world of the Apostle Paul and the underground church in Rome! Kids will discover how early Christians boldly shared their faith, even during difficult times, and learn how they can stand strong for Jesus today.

Promotion Sunday 2026

What a special day at Ada First FWB as we celebrated Promotion Sunday!

This year, we recognized students taking an exciting next step in their faith journey:
Level I Sunday School students promoted to Level II
Level II Sunday School students promoted to Youth Group

During our Family Sunday service, we were reminded that growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Just as God continually leads us into new seasons, He calls us to keep learning, growing, and following Him. We challenged our students to stay rooted in God’s Word, ask questions, build godly friendships, and trust Him as they take these next steps.

Our students promoting to Level 2 received devotionals to encourage daily time with God, while those entering Youth Group were presented with Student Study Bibles to help them dig deeper into Scripture and develop a faith that is truly their own.

One of the most meaningful moments of the morning was gathering around these students and their families in prayer. As a church family, we prayed for God’s wisdom, protection, strength, and guidance over each student as they enter a new stage of life and spiritual growth.

We are so proud of these young people and thankful for the parents, teachers, and church family who continue to invest in them. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see how God works in their lives in the years ahead!

Today we had the privilege of celebrating a truly special lady!

For 40 years, Sandra Mackey has faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, pouring her heart into generations of children and helping lay a foundation of biblical truth, faith, and a love for Jesus. Through her dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment, she has impacted countless lives and pointed young hearts toward Christ.

Thank you, Sandra, for four decades of faithful service, for loving children so well, and for being such a wonderful example of Christ’s love. Your investment in the lives of others has made an eternal difference, and we are so grateful for you!
