St. Mark Lutheran Church

St. Mark Lutheran Church Located at 125 South Johnson Street in Ada, Ohio, St. Mark Lutheran Church welcomes everyone. Sunday All are welcome to attend any or all events!

Breakfast is offered the first Sunday of every month from 9:00 am-10:00 am. Adult Bible study takes place every Sunday at 9:15 am and is followed by a worship service at 10:45am. Vice Pastor Kevin Mohr serves communion the first Sundays of each month during worship. Community meals are offered the last Wednesday of each month from 5-6:30pm. The church also holds Alcoholics Anonymous at 7:30 pm on Thursdays.

It's that time of the month again to break out you best bib and head on down to St. Mark Lutheran Church on the corner of Lincoln and Johnson Streets for our Free Community Meal. It will be on Wednesday, May 27th, from 5:00-6:30 (or whenever we run out). This month's fixings are Shredded chicken sandwich, Baked beans, Applesauce, Chips, and Cookies. You may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. There is a limit of 8 meals per vehicle. If for some reason you will require more than 8 meals we ask that you call 419-792-0911 before noon on Tuesday and be prepared to come in to carry out your meals (or bring the whole gang in and dine inside). It is that time again for that DE-licious meal down at the church. We will be serving it up on Wednesday, April 29 from 5:00-6:30. This month's menu consist of Chicken and noodles, Mashed potatoes, Fruit, Green beans, and a homemade Cookie. The meal is free and opened to the public. You can dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. We ask that you limit it to 8 meals per vehicle. If you should require more than 8 meals please call 419-792-0911 by noon on Monday, so that we may be better prepared to serve you. { Just a hint here, but if you require more than 8 you will get faster service if you come in and carry it out.} So put on your best bib and come on down and join us for supper. Well, it is that time of the month when our mouths start watering for one of those delicious meals at St. Mark. I'm talking about the Free Community Meal. That's right, free and opened to the public. You can dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. This month we are fixing up Shepherd's pie, Roll, Fruit, and a Cookie or two. The meal will be served from 5-6:30, Wednesday, March 25. Be there or be hungry. Hope to see you there.

Ok, we are going to try our Community Meal again this month and hope it doesn't snow. The meal will be Wednesday, February 25, from 5:00 to 6:30 (or whenever we run out). The meal is free and open to the public. We will be serving up Ham, Scalloped potatoes, Corn, Fruit, and Cookies. As always you may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. We do ask that if you drive up or carry out and will require more than 8 meals per car that you call 419-792-0911 by noon on Monday so that we can prepare enough food. If you dine in you may want to look at our newly remodeled restrooms. You don't have to use them, you can just look at them. For those who don't know our church is located at the corners of Lincoln and Johnson. Hope to see you there.

It is with regret that St. Mark Lutheran has decided to cancel it's Free Community Meal for January due to the weather. Weather permitting we will be back the last the last Wednesday in February so serve you up some fine vittles. We look forward to serving you then.

We're Back. The Community Meals are back (weather permitting). Wednesday, January 28 from 5:00 to 6:30, or whenever we run out. This month's menu is Ham, Scalloped potatoes, Corn, Fruit, and a Cookie. You may dine in (would love to see you), carry out (still get to see you), or drive up for curbside service (only the car hops get to see you). We do ask that if you require more than 8 meals that you call 419-792-0911 by noon on Monday. It also helps move things along if require that many that you come in for carry out. Church service for tomorrow, January 25, has been cancelled due to incoming winter storm. You can check the ELCA website for this week's lessons. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday. Remember we also have our free community meal coming up this Wednesday, January 28. Hope to see you then.

St. Mark Lutheran will be having it's last Community meal for 2025 this coming Wednesday, October 29th from 5:00 to 6:30, or whenever we run out. The meal is free and opened to the public. This month's menu consist of Tom's famous Meat loaf, Corn, Scalloped taters, Fruit, and Cookie. This meal is always a fan favorite. You may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. We do ask that if you require more than 8 meals per car that you call 419-792-0911 prior to noon on Tuesday so that we can be better prepared to serve everyone. We will not be serving in November (Thanksgiving Eve) or December (New Year's Eve), but we hope to see you again the last Wednesday in January.

It's that time again when St. Mark fixes up one of the best meals around. It is coming this Wednesday, September 25, from 5:00 to 6:30, or whenever we run out. This month's menu consists of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit, and a cookie. The second-best thing about this meal is it is free and opened to the public. The best thing is you can come and dine in and enjoy it with friends and maybe make new friends. You may also carry out or drive up for curbside service. You will need to call 419-792-0911 by noon on Tuesday if you require more than 8 meals. We have run out of food the last three months and we would like to do our best to serve everyone that shows up. Hey folks, it is almost time for the St. Mark Community meal. It will be this coming Wednesday, August 27, from 5:00 to 6:30 at the church. This month, for your dining pleasure, we are serving up Cheesy sloppy Joes, Baked beans, Fruit, and Cookies. As always you may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. We would love to have you dine in, after all, sloppy joes are too messy to eat in the car.
