Holy Saturday. It looked like all was lost. Hope was gone. The anticipated king had been killed. There was only silence.

But silence can be deceiving.

Silence doesn’t mean inactivity. Stillness doesn’t mean the end. As God so often does, He was working in the unseen.

Beloved, God is still at work in your season of silence.

Sunday is coming.

Good Friday. It looked like the cross had said everything that needed to be said, but God wasn’t finished speaking. Death had actually stepped into the middle of a story God was still writing.

Death had its say. Just not the last one. Because Sunday was coming.
