2 Kings 6:15-17
King James Version
15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Notice, Elisha never prayed for the army to be removed. He prayed for the servants to see the way God sees it.

They saw trouble in their flesh, but in the spirit they saw nothing but triumph!

God, open our eyes of faith to not just see the trouble but the triumph! What a Mighty God we serve!!

I came across this little nugget in my reading on the subject of purpose. It said.

Show me a man without a purpose and I will show you a man who drifts, and the drifters life is always in the control of other people or the devils influence.

Show me a man who knows what they want and wakes up with fire in his belly and a vision in his mind and I will show you a man who cannot be broken or stopped.
