Calling all prayer warriors! Today is the day for Marie’s surgery. Today, we are asking you to cover Marie, her surgeon, and Ken in prayer.

Pray for Marie’s heart — that she would feel the overwhelming peace and presence of God surrounding her today. Pray that fear would be replaced with confidence, and that she would know beyond a doubt that she is not walking through this alone.

Pray for her surgeon — that God would guide her hands, steady them in every moment, give her extraordinary wisdom, and give her clarity as they make decisions in real time.

Pray for Ken — as he waits in the lobby and may be asked to make difficult decisions. Pray that he would have confidence, peace in his heart, and the ability to think clearly and respond with wisdom if those moments come.

Most of all, pray that God would make His presence known today at Emory Hospital. God is going to show up today. Of this, we are certain. And we cannot wait to see what He does.

MidWeek is SO back!

Join us for kick off on August 19th at 6:30pm as we launch into a new season together. If you’re new to TGC, every Wednesday night our K-5th graders gather for a purposeful evening, diving into God’s Word, engaging in worship, playing games, and hiding His truth in their hearts. Your children won’t want to miss it!

Join us as we cover our teachers, faculty, school leaders, students, and families in prayer. Pray for protection throughout the year, meaningful friendships, hearts ready to learn, and opportunities for the love of Christ to shine in every classroom.

Take a moment this week to lift up the schools in our community. We believe prayer makes a difference, and there’s no better way to begin a new school year than placing it in God’s hands.

Allen Family 🤍 We are so thankful for a gracious God who brought your family to TGC years ago and allowed us to do life alongside you.

Kyle, thank you for faithfully serving on staff. Heather, thank you for pouring your heart into so many areas through your willingness to serve. Knox and Hudson, thank you for the joy, laughter, and love you've shared with our church family. You have all left a lasting impact on TGC.

While we're sad to see you go, we trust that God is already preparing incredible things for your family. We pray that as you settle into Bremen, you will continue to be a light for Jesus and that He will use you in mighty ways to love and serve your new community.

Thank you for being such a meaningful part of our story. You will always be part of the TGC family. We love you and can't wait to see all that God has in store!

Kingdom Quest is officially a wrap! 🏰

What an incredible week as we welcomed more than 100 kids onto our campus to discover who Jesus is. We will continue to pray that seeds were planted and hearts will draw closer to Jesus and we hope you will do the same. We truly believe God is just getting started with this generation!

Thank you to everyone who served, prayed, and supported Kids Camp in any capacity. We can't wait to see how God continues to move in the lives of these kids long after this week has ended!

Suffering does not hinder God’s work, it only fuels it.

What we value shapes our perspective, and our perspective shapes our response. A Gospel-shaped perspective produces joy and faithfulness even in a season of suffering. Pastor Jacob shared Philippians 1:12–20 which shows how Paul, imprisoned for his faith, views hardship not as a setback but as an opportunity for the Gospel to advance. Paul’s imprisonment spreads the message of Christ to guards and strengthens other believers, demonstrating the proclamation of the Gospel despite circumstances.
