This weekend, GroveYouth is joining four other churches for ZEAL WKND: GRVYTH! Join us as we lift up these students in prayer. For His glory, may his spirit move in the lives of our students this weekend!

• Life change - that those far from the Lord would come to a saving faith in Him
• Reawakening - that those who are stagnant in their faith would experience spiritual renewal
• Calling clarity - that those who feel a tug in their heart to answer a call into ministry would do so
• Friendships - that lasting friendships will be formed during this event.
• Safety - that every student and leader participating would be protected from illness or injury

What an encouraging morning hearing from one of our partners.

Thank you to Ryan Goodson from Crossfire Ministry for reminding us that Jesus is the key to victory. We’re grateful for the truth shared today and the reminder that we have the greatest news of all, the good news of the Gospel!

TGC, let’s pray for future opportunities for Ryan to boldly share with the children of God. Please also join us in praying for his family, Ashley, and baby Sloan, and for the leaders of Crossfire Ministries as they continue to serve, lead, and share the Word of God.

Thank you, Ryan, for encouraging us today. We’re grateful for you as a partner and the work of Crossfire Ministries!

RECAP ✈ They’re back home safely and what an incredible trip it was!

Over the past week, the team had so many opportunities to serve, build relationships, pray with others, and share the love of Christ.

They spent time serving at a local preschool playing with children while teachers enjoyed a much-needed break, as well as serving at a local village elementary school. They also walked through nearby villages inviting people to a special church service and spent time playing baseball and building relationships with members of the community.

One especially meaningful moment was reconnecting with Tomas, the first person to come to know Christ in the McClures’ village more than 14 years ago. The team was able to pray with him for his current medical needs and for his wife, who does not yet know the Lord.

They also had the opportunity to pray with a woman who has faithfully attended church but has not yet made a decision to follow Christ.

So many conversations. So many prayers. So many opportunities to serve. We’re thankful for the ways God worked through this team and for the relationships that continue to grow. What a joy to see the Gospel lived out through serving others!

Our mission trip team officially left for the Dominican Republic early this morning ✈️

Please keep this special team in your prayers as they spread the love of Jesus through out the DR over the next 5 days. Pray they are instrumental in opening eyes, changing hearts and spreading the Gospel.

Another MidWeek Theme Night in the books and this one was WACKY! 🤪

We’re so thankful for these incredible kiddos and the volunteers who show up, serve wholeheartedly, and make moments like these possible. We love our MidWeek crew. What a night!

Sometimes, God invites us into a season of waiting, not because He is withholding something, but because He is teaching us where our true satisfaction is found. Waiting teaches us that we aren’t ultimately satisfied in the things we’re waiting for, but in the One we wait with.

TGC, we wait with expectation. We trust His timing. We believe He is working, even when we can’t see it yet. And we’re excited for what the One has in store for The Grove.

Calling all prayer warriors! Today is the day for Marie’s surgery. Today, we are asking you to cover Marie, her surgeon, and Ken in prayer.

Pray for Marie’s heart — that she would feel the overwhelming peace and presence of God surrounding her today. Pray that fear would be replaced with confidence, and that she would know beyond a doubt that she is not walking through this alone.

Pray for her surgeon — that God would guide her hands, steady them in every moment, give her extraordinary wisdom, and give her clarity as they make decisions in real time.

Pray for Ken — as he waits in the lobby and may be asked to make difficult decisions. Pray that he would have confidence, peace in his heart, and the ability to think clearly and respond with wisdom if those moments come.

Most of all, pray that God would make His presence known today at Emory Hospital. God is going to show up today. Of this, we are certain. And we cannot wait to see what He does.

MidWeek is SO back!

Join us for kick off on August 19th at 6:30pm as we launch into a new season together. If you’re new to TGC, every Wednesday night our K-5th graders gather for a purposeful evening, diving into God’s Word, engaging in worship, playing games, and hiding His truth in their hearts. Your children won’t want to miss it!
