Welcome to the June edition of The Lighthouse, the newsletter for the Acton Congregational Church.

We are a flexible congregation, and we welcome any and all feedback on the newsletter. We want to make this newsletter full of information about not only what the church committees are doing, but also what our members are doing. We are looking for stories and pictures that we can include, so we can find out more about each other.

This Sunday we will hear God’s commission to Abraham and Sarah. Just as Jesus gave the disciples a commission and a purpose: “Go and make disciples of all nations”, Abraham and Sarah were given one, too: “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”

And that’s it! That’s their purpose and ours as well: to be a blessing. So join us at 10 a.m. in person or online and let’s hear more and talk about how we (how YOU) are a much-needed blessing to the world. Because you are each and every day.
