2 John 1:4, “I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.”
One of the greatest blessings you will ever receive is the free gift of salvation.
Next to that great blessing is seeing your children saved!
Pray for our VBS teachers as they share Jesus with your children and children in our community this week.

Matthew 19:13-15, “Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.”
Today we begin an important week in the life of our church…Vacation Bible School. This week our church will be filled with children. We have the opportunity to daily teach them the Word of God and tell them about Jesus Christ our Wonderful Savior.
I ask that each of you pray for our teachers and students this week. May God change lives and save souls this week to His honor and glory!

Romans 14:12, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
Am common greeting is , “Hey, what have you been doing lately?” The greeting is quite vague and responses are just as vague. They didn’t want a moment by moment accounting of your day and you probably didn’t want to give a serious answer.
One day each one of us will stand before God and give a detailed account of our lives. Gill’s Exposition of the Bible says, “it is before his judgment seat all shall stand; and therefore the account must be given to him by every one, of himself, and not another; of all his thoughts, words, and deeds, which will be all brought into judgment; and of his time and talents, how they have been spent and used; and of all his gifts of nature, providence, and grace, how they have been exercised for the glory of God, his own good, and the good of others: the formal manner in which this will be done is unknown unto us; however, this is certain, that the saints will have upon this reckoning, in what sort soever it may be, a full and open discharge.”
So…what are you going to do today?

Psalm 90:10, “The days of our years arethreescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they befourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
Someone has calculated how a typical lifespan of 70 years is spent. Here is the estimate:
Sleep................23 years...........32.9%
Work.................16 years...........22.8%
TV....................8 years...........11.4%
Eating................6 years............8.6%
Travel................6 years............8.6%
Leisure.............4.5 years............6.5%
Illness...............4 years............5.7%
Dressing..............2 years............2.8%
Religion............0.5 years............0.7%
Total................70 years............100%
How are you spending your time on this earth?
