Church Update: Stay Home & Stay Warm! ☕️ 🧊🥶

Friends, the church grounds are currently covered in a significant layer of ice. To keep our congregation and volunteers safe, we have decided to close the building this Sunday, February 1.

While we won't be meeting in person, we invite you to join us online! Reverend Dave will be livestreaming a service at 11 AM. You can find this service on Facebook, YouTube, or our church website.

We miss seeing you, but we are thankful that we can gather online for worship!

❄⛷ Are you concerned about snow, ice, and the church parking lot? We still are also!

Our church parking lot has been plowed and treated with ice melt, but as you know, this ice is very stubborn! It doesn't seem to want to leave. We know AUMC is a great place to be, but we wish the ice wouldn't like it here as much as it does!

If there is any change to our Sunday schedule, we will let you know via Facebook, email, and the church office voice mail greeting. We'll have a decision made by Saturday afternoon.

Above all, please stay safe and warm, and be careful!

Unfortunately, our Senior Center will be closed again tomorrow. (Our church office is also still closed.)

Reach out to your senior friends with a call or text to make sure they're doing okay! Some may need to hear a friendly voice to lift their spirits.

Due to safety issues with excessive ice on property, the Senior Center will be closed on Thursday, January 29th. Please be safe and warm. Let’s hope this next storm goes out to sea! 🥶
