Thank you to all who made our St. Joseph Altar a success last week! Not only was the altar beautiful, but the devotion of all who helped and attended was a beautiful sight to witness! We served over 400 people food and over 500 bags of cookies. Next year we will try to get an accurate headcount but it may have been the largest crowd we've drawn so far! The remaining food / produce was given to seniors who are homebound and a group hosting a luncheon for seniors. The flowers from the altar were sent to those homebound, senior centers, the Abita Cemetery, and St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. Many of the flowers were placed on the graves of former St. Jane parishioners and family members of parishioners. St. Joseph Pray for Us.
