The Christian Church of Abingdon invites you to join us as part of the Body of Christ in worship, fellowship, and mission. We are part of the denomination known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. We proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ as found in the Bible. We celebrate the Lord's Supper weekly and administer baptism by immersion. We recognize that the c

hurch is a universal fellowship of all those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We strive to embody the grace of God in all that we do and say. We worship weekly each Sunday at 10:30 am. Worship is largely informal with a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements. Children are welcome in worship. A nursery is available also for infants and toddlers if preferred. Sunday School is at 9:00am.
