This morning at Church on the Rock we continued our series, *Walking the Journey of Faith*.

Today's message, *I Give Myself Away So You Can Use Me*, reminded us that some of the greatest gifts God has given us are not things at all.

They are the things He has developed in us:

• Our testimony
• Our experiences
• Our gifts
• Our wisdom
• Our calling

God desires to use each of us to encourage, strengthen, and serve others.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning as we worshiped, prayed, and opened our hearts to God's Word.

We are grateful for what the Lord is doing in our church family.

When it comes down to it. Its all about serving Jesus. When you serve Jesus you get heavenly awards and treasures that will be eternal

Matthew 6:19-21

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Right now the building is quiet.

The front doors are closed.

The fellowship hall is empty.

The sanctuary is waiting.

The youth room is ready.

In a few hours these rooms will be filled with people.

Children will learn about Jesus in Kingdom Kids.

Students will gather for Rock Youth with Clint and Nicole Chipman.

Adults will meet with Deacon Raymond and the Cross Trainers.

Our church family will share a meal together.

And Pastor Deadra Nichols will bring the Word of God.

Most people only see ministry after it begins.

But ministry starts long before the first person arrives.

It begins with preparation.

It begins with prayer.

It begins with people who faithfully say yes to serving.

As you go through your day, would you take a moment and pray for tonight?
