The Voices of the Heart Guild of the Network of Biblical Storytellers invites all to attend an online telling of the Book of Esther on Monday March 16th at 7 PM EST. The Book of Esther is known by most Christians, but it is particularly meaningful to our Jewish friends who celebrate the events of Esther on their holiday of Purim. Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from annihilation at the hands of an official of the Achaemenid Empire named Haman, as it is recounted in the Book of Esther. We invite you to join us for this rich experience of

Come join us for a Zoom Call on February 3rd at 7pm for a session on The Bible in Film, led by Erin Sams, who currently serves as the Family Ministries Director at Aurora United Methodist in Aurora, Nebraska. She also serves as the Children's & Youth Regional Coordinator for the Great Plains UMC Conference. She draws on her experiences as an educator and community resource coordinator to enhance her storytelling.

Our September Virtual Meeting features How Ignatian Spiritual Exercises Can Guide Your Storytelling.
Thursday, September 25, 2025
7:00 p.m. 8:30 p.m.

Many of us have heard and may practice the technique of putting ourselves into the story and engaging our senses to enrich our storytelling, but Ignatius has more to teach us with several other techniques that will be presented during our 90 minutes together.

This workshop’s hope is to encourage a more methodical application of these techniques to enrich our storytelling skills.
