United Methodist Service Center & Food Pantry

United Methodist Service Center & Food Pantry The Methodist Service Center and Food Pantry was established in 1954. Open Tues. 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wed. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no cost.

We help with groceries for a week once a month and personal hygeine items for low income, elderly and the disabled of Taylor County. Our Food Pantry serves low income families that meet our criteria. Families must provide valid picture ID and Social Security card. In accordance with CDC recommendations, service is by drive through only at this time. Volunteers only allowed in the building. Startin

g in April 2022, clients will be required to park and enter the building to verify identities and complete paperwork. This will lengthen the time it takes to distribute food to families. Please plan ahead for this additional time. Your patience during this transition is apprecaited.
