Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. It marks the time when the disciples had tongues of fire descend on their heads, representing their receiving the Holy Spirit.

Remember to wear red, the color of the fire of the Holy Spirit.

See you at 10 a.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran. Don't worry about the ongoing construction in the Fellowship Hall and narthex. When it is done, it will be nice.

Good morning and happy Holy Saturday to all. What is Holy Saturday...? You may answer "Holy Saturday is the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday." And that is correct but also Holy Saturday, it is a day of waiting. This Saturday represents the pause between suffering and victory. The work of the cross was finished, but the resurrection had not yet been revealed. Jesus lays in the tomb and surely the disciples were wondering "what's next". This is the 7th day of Holy Week, take time to reflect over this past week and what this means as part of your Christian journey.

A Blue Christmas service, also called "The Longest Night," is a quiet, contemplative church service held around the winter solstice (December 21st) for those experiencing grief, loneliness, or sadness during the often cheerful Christmas season, offering a space for lament, healing, and hope amidst darkness through prayer, candle lighting, and reflection on loss and God's presence.
