Southern Hills Disciple Kids

We are the Children's Ministry at Southern Hills Church of Christ. Class on Sunday at 9AM and 10AM is Kid's Worship. But you don't do it alone!

Southern Hills’ vibrant and engaging Children’s Ministry focuses on children from birth to 4th grade. We partner with families to help connect children to Jesus: His WORSHIP, His COMMUNITY, His MISSION. At Southern Hills, we believe that God designed the family to be the primary discipling environment for children. God gives parents the privilege and responsibility to raise their children to know

God and to live as followers of Jesus on mission with God in His Kingdom. We want to partner with you! Through a blend of teaching, worship, activities, and relationships with volunteers and other children, we help children learn and experience what it means to love God, love others and be a disciple of Jesus.

Before our worship service, we'll have Bible classes for all ages throughout the building at 9:00 a.m. Children and students will officially promote to their next grade level this Sunday. Children going into elementary school in 2026-27 can go directly to their new Sunday morning classrooms, while incoming 5th graders can head directly to the Student Center.

Because of the wet and stormy weather forecasted through the end of the week, we’re moving Eggstravaganza to next Wednesday, April 8, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Our church family is gathering to serve our neighborhood through Bags of Blessings — handing out free groceries to anyone who could use a little extra help this season.
Here’s what this means tonight for Disciple Kids 👇
✔️ Nursery–3rd Grade: Classes are meeting as usual.
✔️ 4th Grade: No class tonight — our 4th graders will be serving with Bags of Blessings!

✨ Families are welcome to pull kids from class (any age!) if you want to serve together. We love creating space for our kids to learn and to serve — and tonight is a beautiful chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our own neighborhood. 💛
