Southern Hills Disciple Kids We are the Children's Ministry at Southern Hills Church of Christ. Class on Sunday at 9AM and 10AM is Kid's Worship. But you don't do it alone!

Southern Hills’ vibrant and engaging Children’s Ministry focuses on children from birth to 4th grade. We partner with families to help connect children to Jesus: His WORSHIP, His COMMUNITY, His MISSION. At Southern Hills, we believe that God designed the family to be the primary discipling environment for children. God gives parents the privilege and responsibility to raise their children to know

God and to live as followers of Jesus on mission with God in His Kingdom. We want to partner with you! Through a blend of teaching, worship, activities, and relationships with volunteers and other children, we help children learn and experience what it means to love God, love others and be a disciple of Jesus.

Last Sunday, we announced that Elise Gribsby is joining our staff as our new Children’s Ministry Resident! Over the next year, Elise will be devoting her time, energy, and gifts to serving and growing our Children’s Ministry.

She’s excited to get to know the children and families of Southern Hills, and we’re excited to have her on our team! Let’s welcome Elise in the comments!

Our Wednesday night Kids Ministry at Southern Hills is growing and we couldn’t be more excited!

Last September we averaged about 40 kids each Wednesday. By April, that number had grown to around 75! With a new Financial Peace class launching this Fall, we’re expecting even more families on Wednesday nights.

We’d love to grow our volunteer team right alongside our kids. Whether you’ve been thinking about teaching, helping in a classroom, or just wondering where you might fit, this is a great time to jump in.
