Lots of great things happening here at camp. Keep praying for your kids, tomorrow is our last full day and our big mountain hike. I can't tell you how blessed I feel to be able to minister to all these teens.

Hi REACH campers and families! We are a little over a week away before we leave for Camp Golden Bell in Colorado. I just want to send everyone final camp info for parents and campers.

I need LifeHouse waiver and final fees (message me if you did not get an email with this info).
I need Health appraisals before camp... ASAP!

We will be meeting at the church at 6am Sunday July 16th, and be on the road by 6:15am. We will be traveling in two rented vans and Patti Coup will be helping to transport all our luggage to Salina, where we will meet up with the other Kansas BIC churches and load our luggage into a trailer. We will all wear our REACH T-shirts (I will hand these out that morning) during our traveling there and back. Bring money for at least two stops during travel both there and back ($15-$20 each way recommended) and money for offering and spending at the gift shop if you want.

Reach is covering the activity fees (zip line, rappelling and tubing)

~Be sure you have what you need for traveling in a backpack we will not have access to the luggage until later Sunday evening.

~Make sure all medications are in original prescription bottles with campers name. They will not accept baggies with medication in it (yes this has happened).

~Cell phones are allowed but will be taken if used during chapel and devotion times, or excessively used.

~I will have a final waiver form for LifeHouse. Please print it, sign it when you drop the campers off. I will have extras on hand when you drop your campers off.

~Parents, please be in prayer before and during camp, that they will be open to what God wants to do through this camp experience in their walk with Christ, and how He can use them both at camp and once we return, in being a witness to others.

~Finally we should be returning to LifeHouse around 7-8pm on Friday July 21st. I will have your campers message you if they have a phone, when we get close, and I will try to send a group text or post on facebook as well. On that note be sure to like our REACH FB page as this will likely be where I will post any pics or info during camp.

I look forward to a great time at camp with all our youth and if you have any question both before and during camp please text me (let me know who you are and who your camper is) at the number below (reception at camp is not always great so please be patient with response times).

Campers, registration is due this Sunday. Those that helped with the Taco Bar and auction only need to turn in $55 with their forms. Everyone else needs to turn in $150 with your forms.

REACH YOUTH!!! We are almost geared up for our big camp fundraiser this Sunday. Remember to get help paying for some or all your first $150 deposit you have to help out with this event.
Be at church by 10am and don't forget to bring something to auction or a service you can donate!

Youth Auction and Taco Bar

REACH parents and youth, look for an email sent to those currently signed up for camp! I am pasting a copy of it on here since I know emails can get lost in junk folders. If you are not signed up but are interested in going to camp it is not to late!

If you are getting this email it is because you or a your teen is interested in or is signed up to go to camp in Colorado, July 16th-21st. If you haven't already done so, pick up camp forms on the counter where you signed up. These forms need to be turned in by May 28th along with the $150 deposit. Our hope is to raise enough funds at our Auction and Taco Bar to cover this initial deposit for everyone, so I will send out an email the week between the auction and deadline for registration to let you know if we have raised enough to cover this cost.

This brings me to the information about the auction and taco bar May 21st at noon. Only those participating in this fundraiser will have money going towards their camp cost. If you will be covering your entire cost of camp then you are not required to help with fundraisers. Although even if you do not need the help with your cost, I encourage you to still help in some way to help your fellow youth get to camp as well.

I need all or REACH youth to do the following:

1. Think of a service or item you can donate (something you made, babysitting, lawn mowing... ) and let me know or bring it here by Sunday May 14th.

2. Be at the church by 11am on May21st to help set up, serve and do clean up for the auction and taco bar.

Parents are welcome to help as well, or to help in place of one youth when the youth is unable to help.

3. Lastly, please contact me ASAP if you are getting this and your teen is not going to be registering for camp this year. I need to make travel arrangements and need a good count for reservations. You have until May 28th to decide and get your registration in, but I would like to know who is going and who will be helping with our fundraisers sooner if possible.

Hopefully I am not forgetting anything, please contact me with any questions. I look forward to a successful auction and taco bar and hope you all are excited for this event and summer camp as well. I will be in touch with you with any other event/fundraiser info leading up to camp time.
