First Christian Church Abilene 8am - first worship
9:15am -Sunday School, all ages
10:30am - second worship We take the Bible, and the Bible alone, as our only rule of faith and practice.

Abilene First Christian Church is a nondenominational fellowship of believers who have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible and we wear no name but "Christian." We believe that Christ, is the Head of His Church, and, therefore, every Christian is a part of His Body. We do not believe that we are the only Christians, but earnestly strive to be Christians only. We seek to speak where the Bible

speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. We follow the pattern of the original Church where salvation made you a member through baptism. We refuse to impose upon people more than the Word of God asks to be a Christian, nor require less than the Word states. We are family centered! Our church is family-centered with facilities and programs for all ages. We provide Bible School for all ages, Children's Own Worship (Sunday's 10:30) and an excellent nursery. Christian fellowship and sound Bible teaching make 1st Christian a warm and welcoming place to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are getting so excited for VBS next week!! Our VBS is on Monday through Friday next week, the 14th through the 18th. We will keep your kiddos from 6pm to 8:30pm AND we will feed them dinner! Our theme this year is Magnified: Discovering the Bigness of God in the Smallest of Things (Psalm 34:3). We would love to have your children (4y through 5th grade) join us for an awesome week of fun and learning! If you or someone you know is interested, here's our online registration link.

You should watch the sermon from the comfort of your own home tomorrow! Trooper Ben is advising people to stay off the roads, and so are we! No early service tomorrow morning, or Sunday school. There will be a short service live-streamed at 10:30am. Eric and Jason, along with a few others, look forward to joining you in your living rooms tomorrow morning!
