I am sitting outside reflecting on today's church service. It was beautiful. The phrase "It is good for us to be here" (thank you, Jeff) has become part of every service. It is good for us to come together to worship, pray, be encouraged, and fellowship in the presence of God. We walk this earthly road together, and we grow in the process. No, it is not always easy. Often, we grow closer to God and one another in hardship and suffering. I am grateful that I am not alone. If you are looking for someone to journey with, you are welcome here.

URGENT PRAYER NEED!

Please pray for the people in the northeastern Texas Panhandle. A massive wildfire has consumed over 200,000 acres and continues to spread rapidly. The communities of Miami and Canadian have already been issued evacuation orders. Other communities are also in the path of this fire as it moves toward the Oklahoma line. We call on the people of the West Plains Conference to unite in prayer for those in harms way.
