SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and aboard Flight 93.

We remember the courage of the first responders, the families who endured unimaginable loss and all whose lives were forever changed.

25 YEARS LATER, WE STILL REMEMBER.
We honor. We pray.

Sunday’s Sermon Recap:
“A 100 plus, in spite of”

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome did the world”

Pastor Newman reminded us on Sunday that we are not exempt from trouble but you have access to PEACE. 🙌🏾

Jesus never promised us a life without trials, heartache or difficult seasons. What He did promise is that in Him, we can have peace even while the storm is still raging.

Your circumstances may change. Your strength may change. People may change. But when Christ remains at the center, trouble doesn’t get the final word.

“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

This week, ask yourself: Have I been expecting my circumstances to give me something that only Christ can provide?

Trouble may be present. Christ is still present. 🤍

Sunday’s message reminded us that faithfulness begins at home. ❤️

Our families need more than what we can provide financially, they need our presence, our example, our guidance and our love.

Before we pour everything into work, ministry and everyone else, we have to remember the people God entrusted to us.

“But if any provide not for his own and specially for those of his own house…” — 1 Timothy 5:8 KJV

This week, ask yourself:
Am I giving the people I love my presence or only my provision?
