Executive Pastor Derrick King, is the son of the late Deacon Jerome King Sr. and Senior Pastor Virginia D. He has two brothers, Jerome King Jr. and Seneca King and two sisters, Jessica Fairley and Barbara King. He is the Executive Pastor of Jesus Is King of Deliverance Ministries Inc. e. He communicates the unadulterated Gospel message with unmistakable clarity. He challenges believers to flow in divine favor and order. Executive Pastor Derrick King, gave his life to the Lord at the early age of 13, served faithful in the ministry, and allowed God to use his gifts of singing, directing, youth leadership and doing anything to help lighten the load in the ministry while serving and helping others to receive Christ in many different ways. He has had the privilege with singing with Byron Cage, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, Bishop Hezekiah Walker just to name a few, and many other local psalmist. He served as Board Member, Associate Minister Coordinator, Young People Holiness Association President, Choir President and Praise and Worship Leader at Jesus Is King of Deliverance Ministries. While serving under the leadership of Senior Pastor Virginia D. King, He received sound teaching and preached his initial sermon, November 8, 1998. He received his Local Minister’s License August 29, 2004 and was ordained Reverend April 30, 2006 at the annual Unity Fellowship Conference. His evangelistic ministry launched him to preaching revivals, youth conferences, men conferences and appreciation services. Through the influence and favor of God in his life was committed to strengthening and motivating churches to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. Pastor Derrick King graduated from Pinecrest High School in 1996. Graduated with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Word of Life Bible College, Bennettsville, SC in 2003. Graduated from Lighthouse Christian College in Beebe, Arkansas with an Bachelor Degree in Theology in 2005. He is currently working towards his Master Degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is employed with Evergreen Behavioral Management in Fayetteville NC as a Case Manager for adults with mental health needs. He served as the Pastor of Word of Life Christian Center Ministries in Marion SC for 3 years. He accepted the call and was later appointed Executive Pastor of Jesus Is King of Deliverance Ministries. He is a man after God’s own heart with the main stream to reach the lost and the un-churched. His sermons are dense with strong bible teaching and demonstration of contemporary applications of the Bible’s timeless message. He has a passion and love for God and his desire to please Him.
