This next week, The adult Class at 9:45 will be looking at Psalm 35. "PSALM 35 Prayer for Rescue from Enemies." In today's religious and political climate it is reassuring to know that we have a God who is ready to defend those who put their trust in Him. The murder of Charlie Kirk and others, reaffirms that we live in a time where our faith is being tested even if we are not in a direct line of fire. Our greatest advisory is not a lone gunman but a spiritual warfare that seeks to separate us for our trust in God. Our greatest weapon against defeat is God's word which chronicles the battle we face and the victory which is already written. Now is a good time to take a stand and join other happy warriors. Come and join us for a rekindling of fire which God has already started.
When you see the promises that God has made to the Old Testament Believers you can rest assured that He will keep his promises to us today and on into eternity. Selah

This Sunday in the Adult Class we look at Psalm 32.
So often we look around and see many living as though they are free and unseen when they answer, "I'm not here," as God repeatedly knocks at their door. It is not a great move as it cuts them off from God's blessing and guidance and if that weren't bad enough they also unwittingly challenge God to discipline them by assuming they can hide their guilt from Him. Psalm 32 gives us a good look at the benefits of being open with God and acknowledging our failures. Communion Sunday also gives us a great opportunity to anchor our souls against the storms of life and to God's provision of safety and security in a world of chaos.

In our Adult Class Sunday morning at 9:45 am, we are going to be looking at Psalm 31. What can we learn and apply today while we look at David's struggles. Every generation has peculiar concerns and we are encouraged to follow David's example in answering Life's greatest challenges. Join us for an open discussion.

"Psalm 31:7 I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness,
Because You have seen my affliction;
You have known the troubles of my soul,"

We are asked to rejoice and be glad because God has seen what trouble there is in our lives and in His Lovingkindness He provides for us. It's not always easy to be joyful in our sorrow, some days it's near impossible yet God gives us the grace to bear under the burden. Even Job who suffered much and was repaid double still grieved for his lost children and much more.

"Job 42:10 Then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversities that the Lord had brought on him."

"Job 41:15 In all the land no women were found so fair as Job’s daughters; and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers. 16After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations. 17And Job died, an old man and full of days."

God does not leave our suffering unrewarded.

This Communion Sunday we look at Philippians 2:5-11

What lengths God went to and what are the implications of having Jesus as an example and where does that leave us.

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
