As our children are heading back to school, please cover them in prayer. And not just our kids, but their teachers and peers. We never know what the lives of the people around us look like when they go home. We never know what situations they are facing.

As our children grow and learn, they are realizing life doesn’t get any easier.

Whether your children attend public school, Christian/private school, or homeschool, let's ask God to protect them, guide them, give them wisdom, and help them grow this school year.

God is such a gentleman.

He makes ways and opens doors, even when we don’t deserve it.

He pursues us, even when we give Him nothing to pursue.

He loves us, even when we give Him no reason to.

He will never push or beg for our attention, but He wants us.

He isn’t impatient or unkind, but He waits for us.

Always patient. Always loving. Always pursuing.

He’s waiting for you. And in His arms is perfect peace. Perfect joy. Perfect love.

It’s so tiring when we try to do it all on our own. It’s time to stop running, and rest in His arms. He’s stronger anyway.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the thoughts of

- That wasn’t right
- It didn’t happen how it was supposed to
- It’s not fair
- But my dreams were ……

Instead of dwelling on the negatives today, I challenge you to “different”.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Let’s change our perspectives and have an attitude of gratitude. When we make that decision to consciously change our perspective, our whole outlook changes.

We start to see exactly how blessed we are, and in turn, how much we can bless others just by offering a smile.

When All You Can Do Is Stand

There are seasons in life when you’ve prayed until there are no more words, cried until there are no more tears, and fought every battle you know how to fight. You’ve trusted, believed, waited, and obeyed. Yet somehow, the answer still hasn’t come.

Those are the moments this Scripture speaks to.

It doesn’t say that standing is easy. Sometimes standing is the hardest thing you’ll ever do. It takes strength just to get out of bed. It takes courage to keep believing when nothing around you has changed. It takes faith to put one foot in front of the other when your heart feels weary.

But standing is not doing nothing.

Standing is a declaration.

Standing says, “I still believe God is faithful.”

Standing says, “I refuse to let fear have the final word.”

Standing says, “My circumstances may shake me, but they will not move my foundation.”

Standing says, “I may be waiting, but I am not defeated.”

Every day you choose to stand, you are telling the enemy that your faith is still alive. You are declaring that God’s promises are greater than your present pain. Heaven recognizes the believer who keeps standing when giving up would have been easier.

So today, stand.

Stand when you’re tired.

Stand when you don’t understand.

Stand when your prayers seem unanswered.

Stand when your heart is aching.

Stand when everyone else has walked away.

Because the God who called you is the God who keeps you. He has never abandoned His children, and He never arrives too late. His timing is always perfect, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

This is your anthem:

I will stand.

I will stand when my knees are weak.

I will stand when my answers are few.

I will stand when my feelings tell me to quit.

I will stand because God is faithful.

I will stand because His Word cannot fail.

I will stand because His promises are sure.

I will stand until my breakthrough comes.

I will stand until His purpose is fulfilled.

And when I can no longer stand in my own strength, I will stand in His.

Today, don’t measure your victory by how fast your circumstances change. Measure it by your willingness to keep standing. Sometimes the greatest miracle isn’t that the battle ends immediately—it’s that God gives you the grace to remain standing until He says it’s time for the victory to be revealed.

“Therefore… having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13
