📖 EZRA: RETURN • REBUILD • RESTORE • RENEW

What happens when God’s people return to the place He has called them—but discover there is much work still to be done?

The book of Ezra is a powerful account of God’s faithfulness to His covenant people. It is a story of return, opposition, rebuilding, repentance, worship, and renewal. But above all, Ezra is a book that reminds us that God accomplishes His purposes through His Word and according to His sovereign faithfulness.

As we begin our new expository series, “Ezra: Return, Rebuild, Restore, Renew,” we will walk carefully through the text, seeking to understand what God has actually said—and why it matters for His people today.

This will not simply be a series about rebuilding a temple.

It is about a people being brought back to God’s Word, reordered according to God’s commands, and reminded that the work of God must always be grounded in the Word of God.

“For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.” — Ezra 7:10

May the Lord use this study to deepen our love for His Word, strengthen our faith in His providence, and renew our commitment to worship and obedience.

Return. Rebuild. Restore. Renew.

And through it all, let us hear the Word of God.
